What to Expect
Visiting any church for the first time can be intimidating. The music and worship may be different than you’re used to. You are surrounded by unfamiliar faces. You may get lost in the big buildings. We understand your concerns, and hope this page helps to prepare you for your first visit.
What to Wear
You will find people wearing a variety of clothing styles, both formal and informal, and you will be welcomed in whatever style of clothing you choose. We encourage our members to wear what would be honoring to the Lord.
Music & Worship
Our music is a blend of traditional and contemporary. We seek to sing songs that reflect truth about God and the gospel, including a mix of modern and ancient Christian music. Our style is more traditional, but passionate, as we are accompanied by a piano, keyboard, guitar, and bass. Each worship service includes time of singing, corporate prayer, a time of giving, and a time for the preaching of God’s Word. The preaching is followed by an invitation to respond to God in a way that is appropriate to the sermon.
We offer two, clean, well-supervised nurseries for babies and toddlers, for all services. We have a graded 10:00am Sunday School, a vibrant Super Church program during the 11:00 service called Lions (ages 6 – 6th grade) and Lambs (potty trained 3 year olds – age 5). On Wednesday nights we also have an AWANA club for ages 3 – 6th grade (Sept – May). Sunday evenings in the fall and spring we also offer a Kids Choir experience that is filled with fun and music, leading up to a Christmas and Spring performances.
